Cruising offers everything that a land based resort has to offer, but with more included - All meals and entertainment, complimentary wines and open bars, complimentary room hire and tea/coffee breaks for meetings to name but a few.

The size of ships can vary. Think cruise, and many people think of mega ships that carry over 3,000 passengers, but there are many small, boutique ships that carry from 49 guests upwards. If you have a group of 50, 100, 200 or 300 there are many ships that are ideal for taking over exclusively. If your needs are greater, say for a conference of 1,200 rooms, single occupancy with all the right facilities, they are out there too.

Waking up each morning with a different view from your window or balcony can not be surpassed. It's not just the worlds oceans that are covered, Europe and China's greatest rivers also play host to a variety of boats that offer superb inland cruising opportunities. Of course, cruises can also take in special events like the Monaco Grand Prix and the Cricket World Cup.

Business and leisure facilities onboard are often second to none. With today's modern cruise ships you will often find more onboard than you would in land based accommodation. For example, spectacular show lounges offering West End style entertainment, a variety of dining options, health spas, sports facilities (some ships even offer Ice Skating rinks) and a variety of bars and clubs.

Quite often it can be cost effective to charter an entire ship which also means you can totally control the environment and create a fully tailor made programme. Seven night cruises are most easily accommodated however if the ships itinerary has not been published (15 months in advance), it is often possible to charter just 2 nights. Some cruise lines have the flexibility to change their current published itineraries, but this is in exceptional circumstances.
